Hello all...this is Starmama, comin atcha...very expensively, might I add, since I'm at Kinko's instead of the library...I went to an agency today to take a pre-employment test for a job I'm not sure I want. But, unemployment doesn't pay enough to cover rent & PG&E in one month - not with this mad energy crisis and wintery weather. Yes, it SNOWED in OAKLAND yesterday! The last time I remember snow actually hitting the ground in Oakland and staying there was back in, I think, 1975. I believe I was in second or third grade.

I just wanted to write a coupla lines to let y'all know I'm still out there. Once I'm working I'll be able to save up some money for computer repair. Until then, you've got to bear with these infrequent (and for the most part, blandly uninspired) updates.

Oh yeah, anyone out there in the Oakland/Berkeley area got some Windows 95 disks I could use? Quite possibly that's all I need to get my 'puter back up. email me and let me know. Thanks!
